The following information is taken from handwritten family events recorded in the Pierce family Bible, now in the possession of Cynthia Pierce.

James Henry Pierce (Civil War veteran, Officer, NY Militia), m. Emma Jane Bull 7 Jan 1862 Pittsfield, MA.

Two children:
Eldest was Walter Henry Pierce, b. 31 May 1870 Greenbush, NY, m. 3 Sept 1895 in Springfield, MA to Mary Agnes Alderman.

Children:
Walter Raymond Pierce, b. 14 Sept 1897, and Frank Parker Pierce, b. 2 May 1900.

Walter Raymond Pierce m. Mary Ruth Mahoney 7 June 1922

3 children:
Raymond Weston Pierce, b. 15 April 1924,
Nathalie Alderman Pierce, b. 8 Dec 1925, and
Mary Ruth Pierce, b. 16 Sept 1929, d. 1938.
