Last Will and Testament Margaret E. [Hyser] Traver Town of East Greenbush |
Last Will and Testament of Margaret E. Traver of the town of East Greenbush Rensselaer County NY.
I MARGARET E. TRAVER of the town of East Greenbush Rensselaer County N.Y. for my last will and testament provide as follows:
1. After the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate to my executor hereinafter named in trust for my said executor to have and hold said estate and sell and dispose of the said real and personal estate and convert the same into money and then to retain the same, and I direct my executor hereinafter named out of my real and personal estate or the proceeds thereof to pay the income thereof and so much of the principal as may be necessary and all of the principal if necessary for the care support and maintenance of my husband LEWIS P. TRAVER during his life and at his death to pay his funeral expenses out of my estate.
2. After the death of my husband Lewis P. Traver and payment for his care support and maintenance and funeral expenses out of my estate by my executor the rest residue and remainder of my estate I give devise and bequeath one third to my son AUGUSTUS D. TRAVER and one third thereof to my daughter JANE H. VAN DENBURGH and one third thereof to the children of my son WILLIAM H. TRAVER.
3. I make constitute and appoint my son WILLIAM H. TRAVER executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 29 day of October 1896.

The foregoing instrument was at the date thereof signed by the said Margaret E. Traver in our presence and she at the same time declared said instrument to be her last will and testament and requested us to sign the same as witnesses and we at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

To the Surrogate's Court of the County of Rensselaer:
The Petition of William H. Traver residing at No. 3 Prospect Place, in the City of Rensselaer in the County of Rensselaer, respectfully showeth, that your Petitioner is the Executor named in the last Will and Testament of Margaret E. Traver late of the County of Rensselaer, Deceased:
The said last Will and Testament of Margaret E. Traver above mentioned relates to both real and personal property, and bears date the 29th day of October 1896, and is signed at the end thereof by the said testatrix and by S. C. Curran and W. H. Link both of East Greenbush Rens. Co. NY
That Petitioner does not know of any codicil to said last Will and Testament, nor is there any codicil to the best of his information and belief.
That the said deceased was, at the time of her death, a resident of the County of Rensselaer, and departed this life at the town of East Greenbush in said County, on the 26th day of November 1897.
Your Petitioner further states that the Husband, all the heirs, and all the next of kin of said deceased, together with their residences, are as follows, to wit:
