The last Will and Testament of John Bloemendal deceased with the probate thereof Recorded March 18, 1833.

In the Name of God Amen I JOHN BLOOMENDALL of the town of Greenbush in the County of Rensselaer and State of New York being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following to wit:

First I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly satisfied and paid in some convenient time after my decease by my sons MOSES, GEORGE and JACOB for and in consideration of the devise hereinafter made to them

Item I give devise and bequeath to my sons Moses, Jacob and George their heirs and assigns all my farm situate in the Town of Greenbush whereon I now live and as the same has been by me caused to be divided into lots by Evert Van Alen Surveyor according to his map or chart thereof made and which I have caused to be hereunto annexed and the division thereon as represented by the Dotted lines and the courses and distances thereon inserted with the names and the number of each share therein inserted But as my son Moses has a lease from me heretofore given to him for ten acres in the south end of my farm it is my will that in order to make the division more equal that he assigns and sets over the said lease and the land therein contained to my son Jacob and in case he should refuse to make such assignment or a surrender thereof that then and in such case it is my will that ten acres shall be set off in the North East part of my farm out of the share of my son Moses in as near a square as may be which said Ten acres so set off

I give devise and bequeath to my son Jacob his heirs and assigns and for and in consideration of the devise hereinbefore made to my sons Moses, Jacob and George I will that they shall jointly pay to my son JOHN at the expiration of three years after my decease the sum of Seven hundred dollars and that they jointly pay to my son CORNELIUS at the expiration of three years after my decease the sum of Two hundred and fifty Dollars or to their legal heirs

And I further Will that for and in consideration of the devise hereinbefore made to my sons Moses, Jacob and George that they do jointly pay in two years after my decease to my daughter RACHEL wife of John BERRINGER the sum of Three hundred dollars and to my daughter POLLY wife of David DEFREEST in two years after my decease the sum of Three hundred Dollars and to my daughter LANA now unmarried at the expiration of two years after my decease the sum of Four hundred Dollars or to their legal heirs

To have and to hold to my sons Moses, Jacob and George their respective shares as above described and to their heirs and assigns forever. Subject to the payments above directed and subject also the payment of each an equal proportion of Rents to Stephen Van Rensselaer Esqr. As to all the Rest residue and remainder of all property Real and personal not herein before particularly will and disposed of

I give devise and bequeath to all my children to be by them equally divided share and share alike and to their heirs

And lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my sons Jacob Bloomendale and George Bloomendale and my respected friend Frederick Passage Executors to this my last Will and testament hereby utterly revoking disannuling and making void all other and former Wills and Legacies by me made, in witness whereof have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirty three
