In the name of God Amen I Barbary Van Alstyne of the town of Troy County of Rensselaer, State of New York, being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following vz: I give and bequeath unto my son Peter M. Van Alstyn all my personal property I will and order shall be paid to the said Peter Van Alstyn within six months after my decease. The above named I hereby appoint sole executor of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 14th day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty.
