In the name of God Amen I Thomas FROST of the town of Schodack county of Rensselaer & State of New York being in perfect health mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of life Blessed be God for the same do make this my last will and testament in words following, that is to say
I will unto my beloved wife Lydia FROST one half of my house & one half of my furniture which belongs to my house our cow and all sorts properties sufficient for her support during her natural life and one third of my real and personal Estate during her natural life in the house to make up the one third of my real and personal Estate and at her decease then to return unto the hands of my two sons Thomas FROST Junior or his heirs and Nathan FROST or his heirs
I will to my [Daffer? daughter?] Phoebe BULKLY [sic - BUCKLY) or her heirs ten Dollars,
I will to my son Elijah FROST or his heirs Two Hundred & Fifty Dollars two years after my decease,
I will to my son Tartulus FROST or his heirs ten Dollars,
I will to my son Ezra FROST or his heirs two hundred and fifty dollars with what he has had
I will Daughter Deborah['s] children ten dollars to be equally divided,
I will to my daughter Elizabeth['s] son Frost MYERS five Dollars,
I will to my son John FROST['s] heirs five dollars to be equally divided,
I will to daughter Hannah FINCH or heirs fifty Dollars,
I will to son Thomas FROST Junior or heirs & my son Nathan or heirs all my real and personal Estate after my Debts and Legacies is paid as above ritten and that part which I give son Thomas FROST Junior is to continue in my son Nathan FROSTs hands to be dealt out to him as my son Nathan FROST shall think he stands in need and if my son Thomas shall die without issue then my son Nathan is to be due the whole of the Estate which would otherwise belong to Thomas and
Further I do appoint my beloved wife Lydia FROST and my son Nathan FROST my sole Executors to this my last will and Testament.
Done at the town of Schodack this twenty ninth day of August one thousand and eight hundred & eighteen in pursuance of

Be it remembered that on the seventeenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and twenty personally appeared before me Nicholas M Masters Esquire Surrogate of the Said County of Rensselaer Peter Finch and William S Green two of the Subscribing Witnesses to the will of Thomas Frost late of the town of Schodack in said County deceased who being duly sworn declare that they did see the said Thomas Frost seal & execute [the] annexed written instrument purporting to be the last will and testament of the said Thomas Frost bearing date the twenty ninth day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred & Eighteen & hearby publish and declare the same as & for the last will and Testament, that at the time thereof he the said Thomas Frost was of sound disposing mind and memory to the best of [the] knowledge and belief of the said Peter Finch and William Green and that they the said William S Green and Peter Finch together with Eli Vickery the other witness to the said will severally subscribed their hands and names to the said will as witnesses thereto in the presence of the testator and of each other

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS FROM THE SUBMITTER:
Thomas Frost (1750-1820) mentions six sons and four daughters. The six sons were Elijah, Tartulas, Ezra, John (1779-1814), Thomas, and Nathan. The four daughters were Phoebe wife of Jabez Buckley, Elizabeth wife of Henry Myers, Deborah wife of Jacob Lewis (1788-1813), and Hannah wife of William Finch. The testator married Lydia Pinney in 1818, after the death of his wife Deborah Stephens in 1818.
