LABENDER/LABENTER, WOLF. Seeking information about Johann George LABENDER who emigrated from Laubenzedel, Bavaria, Germany in 1852 to Poestenkill, Rensselaer County, NY with his wife Maria Sybil WOLF and [three of their] four children: Mary LABENDER born in 1840; Christina LABENDER born in 1842; George LABENDER born in 1851; and Ann LABENDER born in 1854. They are listed in the 1855 and 1865 NY state censuses, but not in the 1860 or 1870 US federal census.
