KEEFE/O'KEEFE, Michael. Looking for any information regarding my great-great grandfather, Michael, linking him to my grandfather, Thomas J. KEEFE. Thomas was born, supposedly in Rensselaer Co. between 1858 and 1862. Name of mother is unknown. Thomas's death certificate from Albany Co. simply states that his father's name was Michael and that Michael was born in Ireland and resided in Rensselaer Co. when Thomas J. was born. Jeanne M. KELLER, BACKUS. Seeking original location of settlement (claimed to be in the Hoosick Falls area in 1776) of Christian KELLER and wife Elizabeth BACKUS, along with family Catherine b. 1749, Marytje b. 1750, Annatje b. 1752, Johannes b. 1754, Grietje b. 1757, Frederick b. 1760, and Jannetje b 1765. They were United Empire Loyalists and were driven out to Canada in 1784. I am also looking for marriage information on the children, especially Frederick KELLER who m. Hannah. KIE, SOADMAN. Seeking information about John KIE b. 1830 and wife Sophia SOADMAN b. 1831. They immigrated from Germany in about 1850. Lived in and around Nassau, Sand Lake, E.Chatham area. Sophia's madien name is listed as SOADMAN on her tombstone, GOODMAN from another source and LAODMAN from her obituary. KNIGHT, EDDY. I am searching for information about Oliver KNIGHT, Jr. and his wife, Phillinda M. EDDY. They were married 25 October 1832 at Troy and living there in 1840. Phillinda apparently died before 9 April 1848, when Oliver remarried to Maria GRIFFITH at Troy. Phillinda's mother, Mary EDDY, was living with them in 1841.
