Note from submitter: This photograph was owned by my husband's father, Edward GILLIE. Edward GILLIE's parents were Margaret WILSON and William Frederick GILLIE, who were married in about 1905 in Troy. Margaret WILSON's brother John WILSON and his wife, Harriet, owned the Snow White Laundry. I know of only three people in the picture for sure:

* Keith R. Cummins writes, "My late mother is in the photo. Her name is Dorothy CROPSEY [later CUMMINS]. She is in the second row, stooped over, with her left hand resting on the shoulder of the woman in front of her [whom Keith recognises as Jean GILLIE]. She is wearing a head band. I remember John WILSON. I remember that as a child I would go there for lunch during my grammar-school years. My father worked there as a delivery man. My brother and I would keep him company on his route during the summer, so they could work and still keep an eye on us. Most of my family worked there, as well as friends and neighbors. It has brought back some fond memories of my childhood and the old neighborhood. I could not believe that I would ever see a picture like that on the computer. My sister still has the photo after all these years."
