Campbell W. Wallace. 21 years old. Enrolled 11/15/1861 at Albany, NY to serve three years. Mustered in as private Co. C [93rd NY Infantry] on 12/11/1861. Promoted corporal 10/18/1862. Promoted sergeant 2/1/1863. Re-enlisted as a veteran 12/20/1863. Promoted 1st sergeant 3/9/1864. Mustered in as 2nd lieutenant 12/19/1864. Promoted first lieutenant Co.A 1/27/1865. Mustered out with company 6/29/1865 near Washington, DC. Commissioned 2nd lieutenant 12/9/1864, with rank from 11/20/1864, vice R. L. Gray killed in action. Commissioned 1st lieutenant 12/30/1864, with rank from 12/24/1864, vice J. S. Little discharged. Source: New York: Report of the Adjutant-General.
