Zophar Simpson. 42 years old. Enlisted on 10/18/1861 at Geneseo, NY as a captain. On 3/17/1862 he was commissioned into "D" Co. NY 104th Infantry. He was discharged for disability on 9/12/1862 at Washington, DC. Source: New York: Report of the Adjutant-General.
