Francis Palmer. 35 years old. Enlisted on 10/21/1861 at Geneseo, NY as a private. On 10/21/1861 he mustered into "C" Co. NY 104th Infantry. He re-enlisted on 1/4/1864. He was mustered out on 7/17/1865 at Washington, DC. He was listed as wounded 9/17/1862 at Antietam, MD. Promotions: Private (reduced to ranks from 1st Sergt.); Sergt. 8/15/1862 (estimated day); 1st Sergt. 3/15/1863 (estimated day); Sergt. 5/1/1864; Qtr. Master Sergt. 11/2/1864; 2nd Lieut. 1/6/1865 (not mustered); 1st Lieut. 3/3/1865 (as of Co. E).
