William Henry Shook. 22 years old. Enlisted on 4/22/1861 at Troy, NY as a corporal. On 5/14/1861 he mustered into "F" Co. NY 2nd Infantry. He was Mustered Out on 5/26/1863 at Troy, NY. Promotions: 1st Sergt. [no date noted]; 2nd Lieut. 7/30/1862 (as of Co. E); 1st Lieut. 3/20/1863; Intra Regimental Company Transfers: 7/30/1862 from company F to company E.
