Horatio Vans Green. 19 years old. Enlisted 8/12/1862 at Troy, NY to serve three years. Mustered in as private, Co. B 8/27/1862. Surrendered 9/15/1862 and paroled 9/16/1862 at Harper's Ferry, VA. Wounded in action 10/14/1863 at Auburn Hill, VA. Mustered out 6/28/1865 at Albany, NY. Source: New York: Report of the Adjutant-General.
