Levin Crandell. 36 years old. Enlisted 8/22/1862 at Troy, NY as a lieut. colonel. On 9/10/1862 he was commissioned into Field & Staff NY 125th Infantry. He was discharged for disability on 12/14/1864. He was listed as a POW 9/15/1862 at Harper's Ferry, VA. He was paroled 9/16/1862 at Harper's Ferry, VA. Promotions: Colonel 7/3/1863.
