Lee Churchill. 26 years old. Enlisted on 8/13/1862 at Troy, NY as a sergeant. On 8/27/1862 he mustered into "F" Co. NY 125th Infantry. He was discharged for wounds on 10/26/1864. He was listed as POW 9/15/1862 Harper's Ferry, VA. He was paroled 9/16/1862 Harper's Ferry, VA. He was wounded 7/2/1863 at Gettysburg, PA and again on 6/21/1864 at Weldon Railroad, VA. Promotions: 2nd Lieut. 12/26/1862 (as of Co. K); 1st Sergt. 1/8/1863 (as of Co. F); 1st Lieut. 8/7/1863 (as of Co. B); Capt. 6/10/1864 (as of Co. B).
