Augustus D. Vaughn. 28 years old. Enlisted on 10/6/1862 at New Dorp, NY as a Captain. On 10/6/1862 he was commissioned into "F" Co. NY 169th Infantry. He was killed on 7/30/1864 at Petersburg, VA. Source: New York: Report of the Adjutant-General.
