The bodies interred here are those of Union soldiers that were brought from their original burial places at Corinth, Iuka, Holly Springs, Guntown and Farmington in Mississippi; from Hatchie River, Parker's Crossroads, Middlebury and Britton's Lane in Tennessee; and from scattered camps and hospitals in Mississippi and Tennessee.
