Clare Radz, who with her late husband Don Radz (1927-2007) created the 93,000-entry Rensselaer County, NY Cemetery Database, in 2004 submitted the following additions and corrections to this database. She expressed a preference that we present these additions and corrections separately rather than incorporate them into the existing database. Therefore, we present her additions and corrections below. I'm afraid you will have to make a separate search, but our search engine should help make this task easier.The entries are arranged alphabetically, first by the name of the cemetery and second by the surname of the individual.

  • HIBBERD - Change George Weatherwax to George II son of Franklin S. and Susan E. Hibberd, died Aug 25, 1846
  • MOSHER - Francis Mosher died October 9, 1848 age 67 years 10 months 7 days
  • MOSHER - Abigail, wife of Francis Mosher, died May 17, 1838 age 65 years
  • MOSHER - Lydia, daughter of Francis and Abigail Mosher, died April 15, 1841 age 21 years 1 day

EAST PITTSTOWN METHODIST CEMETERY

  • FULLER - Existing entry reads "Sarah Griffin died 10 Jul 1827 age 82" - this should be Sarah FULLER. Husband Joseph Gifford
  • GIFFORD - Existing entry reads "Joseph Griffin" - This should be JOSEPH GIFFORD. Mother Lois Jackson; Father Gideon Gifford
  • GIFFORD - Existing entry reads "Martha Griffin died 30 Sep 1869 age 76y 10m 11d" - This should be MARTHA GIFFORD. Husband William Gifford
  • RYAN - Jacob F. Ryan's wife, given in the existing entry as Elia,
    should be ELIZA
  • RYAN - John E. Ryan's age at death, given in the existing entry as 72y, should be 78 years
