In the name of God Amen. I JOHN CRAVER of the Town of Greenbush and County of Rensselaer, farmer, being in perfect health of body and of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given to God, calling unto mind the Mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make this my last Will and Testament, that is to say principally and First of all I give and recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God, that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian Burial at the discretion of my Executors nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall receive the same again, by the mighty power of God and touching such wordly [sic - worldly] estate wherewith it has pleased God to [give] me in this life I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form -

First I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife MARITEE all my Real and personal estate during the time she shall be my widow.

Item - I give and bequeath unto my two sons JACOB CRAVER and NICHOLAS CRAVER or to their heirs or assigns all my real estate the farm which I now possess or enjoy to be divided between them share and share alike to be enjoyed or possessed by them after the decease of my Wife and likewise my Wagon, Slays [sic - sleighs], Plough and Harrow and Tackling to be divided between my said Two Sons Jacob & Nicholas and likewise if any Crop should be in the ground at the decease of myself or of my wife the same is to be divided between Jacob & Nicholas.

Item - I give and bequeath unto my Seven Sons named JOHN CRAVER JR and HENRICK CRAVER, ANDRIES CRAVER, PETRUS CRAVER, DAVID CRAVER, WILLIAM CRAVER, JEREMIAH CRAVER, and to my daughter ELIZABETH Wife of JOHN SHAVER or to their heirs or assigns each the sum of Thirty Seven Dollars and fifty Cents being in all Three hundred dollars to be paid by my Two Sons Jacob and Nicholas Eight Years after my, or my wife's, decease.

Item - I give and bequeath unto all my children the residue of my personal estate which shall be found which I have not before mentioned to be equally divided between them.

Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my Two sons JOHN CRAVER, JR, and JACOB CRAVER to be the Executors of this my last Will and Testament, and I do hereby utterly disallow, revoke and disannull [sic - disannul] all and every other former testaments, Wills, Legacies, Bequests and Executors by me in any ways before named Willed and bequeathed, ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament.

In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this First day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Ninety Nine.

Signed, sealed, published, pronounced and declared by the said John Craver as his last Will & Testament in the presence of us who in his presence, and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names.
