In the name of God amen I Bernhart SIPPERLY of the town of Troy county of Rensselaer and state of New York being of sound mind and memory blessed be almighty God for the same. Do make and publish this my last Will and testament in manner and form following that is to say, First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Maria SIPPERLY all my real and personal estate during her natural life, provided she does not reenter into matrimony after my death, and in such case she is to have only the third part of all the income according to the

of our estate Secondly I give and bequeath unto my two sons Jacob and Michael SIPPERLY and to their heirs and assigns forever all my real estate being situate in the town of Troy county of Rensselaer state of New York consisting of one hundred seventy three acres of land more or less with all farming utensils tools being on and belonging to the joint farms unto my son Jacob SIPPERLY I bequeath the house and barn I now reside in to his sole use after the decease of my wife and these two sons Jacob and Michael SIPPERLY shall pay or cause to be paid to all and every one of my children the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars to be paid in manner following; two years after my decease the above named Jacob and Michael SIPPERLY shall pay of cause to be paid unto my son Friederick SIPPERLY the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars. Four years after my decease the said my two sons Jacob and Michael SIPPERLY shall pay or cause to be paid unto my daughter Catherine wife of Jacob BORNT the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars, six years after my decease the said my two son Jacob and Michael SIPPERLY shall pay or cause to be paid unto my son George SIPPERLY the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars- eight years after my decease the said my two sons Jacob and Michael Sipperly shall pay or cause to be paid unto my son John SIPPERLY the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars. Ten years after my decease the said my two sons Jacob and Michael SIPPERLY shall pay or cause to be paid unto my son Bernhard SIPPERLY the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars. Twelve years after my decease the said my two sons Jacob and Michael SIPPERLY shall pay or cause to be paid unto my daughter Magdalena SIPPERLY the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars. And lastly fourteen years after my decease the said my two sons Jacob and Michael SIPPERLY shall pay or cause to be paid unto my daughter Reginia SIPPERLY the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars and in case that one of the said my children should die the same sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars is to be paid unto their heirs- and lastly as to all the rest and residue and remainder of my personal estate goods and chattels of what kind and indenture forever I give and bequeath the same to all my children to be equally divided among themselves after the decease of myself and wife- and all the apparal and cloths of myself shall be divided among my sons only. and those of my wife my daughters only. I do hereby nominate and

appoint my beloved wife Maria SIPPERLY, and my trusty friend Martinus HANER and Alexander BULSON Executors of this my last Will and Testament revoking herebyall former Wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the seventh day of february in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and four.

NOTES FROM SUBMITTER: This Bernhadt Sipperly bapt. 1 Nov 1731 at Rhinebeck Flats Reformed Church was the son of Frederick Sipperly (1702-1744) and wife Maria Catherina Wegeli. He married Maria Margaretha Wegar 20 Nov 1764 at First Reformed Church in Albany, NY.

Their children were: Frederich Sipperly (1765-1852) m. Maria Gerngross; Catherina Sipperly (1767-1814) m. Jacob Bornt; John Sipperly (1769-?) m. Elizabeth Kunrad; George Sipperly (1770-1849) m. Elisabeth Clum; Jacob Sipperly (1773-? ) m. Christina Bohdin; Michael Sipperly (1778-1871) m. Nancy ?; Bernhardus Sipperly (1781-?) m. Catherine Kemmel
