Aaron Covey's son

Shelley writes, "I've 'rescued' an old photograph identified as the son of Aaron COVEY which was taken at the J. A. Sipperly Studio in Hoosick Falls, Hoosick town, Rensselaer County, New York. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880s, with the young boy likely to have been about 6 to 9 years old at the time the photograph was taken. A note on the back of the photograph indicates that the boy drowned, so this may well be a photograph which was given to family members on the occasion of his death, possibly a copy of an early photograph. I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to his family. Shelley passed the original of the photograph to the Rensselaer County Historical Society. If you are a member of this COVEY family you are welcome to contact them.
