Sylvester D. Alvord. 25 years old. Enlisted on 10/14/1861 at Fonda's Bush, NY as a Private. On 10/14/1861 he mustered into "D" Co. NY 93rd Infantry. He was discharged on 10/17/1864. Promotions: Comm. Sergt. 7/22/1862; Qtr. Master Sergt. 1/13/1863; 2nd Lieut. 5/25/1863 (as of Co. H); 1st Lieut. 5/5/1864; Capt. 9/6/1864. Intra Regimental Company Transfers: 1/13/1863 from company D to Field & Staff; 10/8/1863 from Field & Staff to company H; 3/18/1864 from company H to company F.
