Harry N. Thornburn. 20 years old. Enlisted 8/15/1862 at Schodack, NY to serve three years. Mustered in as corporal Co. G [125th NY Infantry] 8/27/1862. Surrendered 9/15/1862 and paroled 9/16/1862 at Harper's Ferry, VA. Promoted sergeant 5/15/1863. Discharged 11/10/1863 for promotion to 2nd lieutenant 9th Regiment, U. S. Colored Troops.
