Samuel McConihe. Enrolled 11/6/1861 at Troy, NY to serve three years. Mustered in as captain, Co. K, 1/171862; as major 12/3/1863. He was discharged 2/15/1865, near Petersburg, VA. Also borne as McConishe. Commissioned captain 1/30/1862 with rank from 11/27/1861, original; major, 11/30/1863, with rank from 11/19/1863, vice A. S. Cassidy discharged; Colonel, not mustered, 12/17/1864, with rank from 9/7/1864, vice J. S. Crocker discharged. Source: New York: Report of the Adjutant-General.
